Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) is a new international airport in Dakar, the capital city of Senegal covering a total area of 260 thousand square meters with 79 aircraft parking positions. The passenger terminal building, constructed on 42 thousand square meters; is designed to serve up to IATA B standards, with 2 floors, 6 telescopic passenger bridges, 44 check-in counters, 3 CIP halls and a commercial area of 2,500 square meters. In the first stage it will serve with a capacity of 3 million passengers and the capacity may be increased up to 10 million. In addition to the main passenger terminal, Blaise Diagne International Airport serves with a pilgrimage terminal of 2,770 square meters and a VIP lounge of 1,360 square meters.
